41 artists are showing their visual interpretation of portrait in ( almost!) 13×18 cm, The show includes variable mediums, from drawing to photography and from video artworks to sculptural intervetions, We guess the gallery must be very crowded and full both of people and works,so don’t miss the chance, we heard that prices are held in a moderate range to keep it affordable for almost any body who likes to buy a piece of art. There is a catalouge (an image book to be more precise) published featuring a work in each page without so much information and text which leave us curious to see more at the exhibition.  13×18 opens tomorrow, 4th March 2011, 3 to 8 pm and it will continue till 15th March 2011,  from 3 to 8 pm.Gallery Etemad No 4 . We have to admit this was one of the strangest text we’ve read about an International contemporary art show, at the same time we are astonished by the all-star crew featured in this exhibition, so  for not ruining the fun of it. We just quote the very last sentences from the catalog :

…Much like Epic Heroes they venture from the world of common day in to the  unknown , facing adversaries that try to defeat them in their  journey .They illustrate traits , perform deeds and exemplify certain morals , always perfecting the art of resistance. Let us hope that the Decisive Victory shall be theirs’.
